A desperate voice breaks through the still air.

They cry out—three of them. Trembling, on their knees. Tears streaming down their faces, eyes wide with fear, bodies shaking uncontrollably.

Their bodies convulse. Muscles locked. Limbs twitch.
One by one, they collapse. Helpless. Immobilized.

Before they even hit the ground, I had already sprayed them—pepper spray to the face. It burns. I can see it in their reactions.
They're crying harder now, more from pain than from fear.
Their hands scramble at their faces, blind and desperate.

“You knew…” I say calmly, stepping forward. My voice low, cold.
“I told you what would happen if you crossed me.”

But they didn’t believe me.

“Why didn’t you believe it?” I murmur again, a faint smile curling at the edge of my lips.

I glance down at them—three fallen bodies. Broken. Powerless. Whimpering.
In my hands, I grip something heavy, something ancient: a rusted pickaxe.

A brutal tool for a brutal consequence.

“From now on...” I say, raising the pickaxe slightly. “This makes three.”
“This is where sanctions are imposed.”

They try to crawl away. But their limbs don’t respond.

“Don’t worry,” I add, almost gently.
“I won’t take your lives.”

“No. That would be too easy.”

“Instead…” I crouch slightly, eyes narrowing.
“For the rest of your lives… you’ll remember this moment.”

“You’ll regret everything.”

Then, without another word, I turn to them.

And I swing.

The sound echoes.

Through the empty, desolate shrine—once a place of peace.

Now a place of judgment.

“GAAAAHHH!!”

A bloodcurdling scream splits the silence.

Justice—delivered.
